Supporting the HSYC Mission
The Humane Society of York County (HSYC) has been rescuing stray and abandoned pets in York, Lancaster, and Mecklenburg counties for over forty years. Last year, we found loving homes for almost 1,000 pets. Every year in America, over eight million adoptable animals are put to sleep; over 6,500 right here in York County!
We are supported solely by donations from caring groups and individuals, proceeds from our thrift shop, grants, fundraisers, and pet adoption fees. We receive no funding from the Humane Society of the United States or any local or federal government. At $61,000 per month, we cannot do it alone. Please join the FAMILY of supporters.
